Beach Hut Deli Plans Taproom at New Downtown Sacramento Location

The franchise owner of a planned Beach Hut Deli in downtown Sacramento said what’s offered will be slightly different than other locations of the popular fast-casual sandwich shop.

At 711 K St., franchise owner Sean Hook wants to establish both a sandwich shop and a 1,000-square-foot taphouse in the space, which should open in early 2020.

“We’ve been working for about a year to find the right spot,” said Hook, who also owns the Beach Hut Deli location in East Sacramento. “We think it’s a lucrative spot.”

Granite Bay-based Beach Hut Deli will fill about 3,250 square feet in the building at 711 K St., in a former restaurant space north of Irish bar Malt & Mash, which is in the same building.
