Lincoln Building That Housed Oliver’s Brewhouse Listed For Sale

Oliver’s Brewhouse & Grill in downtown Lincoln has shut its doors, and the large building where it was located is also listed for sale.

Matthew and Siobhan Oliver, who operated Oliver’s Brewhouse, announced their decision to permanently close the business at 645 Fifth St. on May 10. The Olivers also own the House of Oliver wine bar and bistro in Roseville, which is staying open.

The building that housed Oliver’s Brewhouse was long known as Beermann’s. Leon Corcos owns the property and said the closing of Oliver’s Brewhouse “came as a surprise.”

“There has already been some interest, but I have no idea what direction I will be taking. I listed the property for sale in April, so that too will play into my decision,” Corcos wrote in an email to the Business Journal.
