Advertising Firm Misfit Relocates to Ground-Floor Capitol Mall Space

A relatively rare ground-floor office space on Capitol Mall has a new tenant for the first time in several years.

Misfit, an advertising and creative firm, will relocate to suites 180 and 190 at 555 Capitol Mall by the end of the year, said a broker on the deal.

“It’s a great thing to see a creative agency and business making a decision to commit to urban Sacramento,” said David Khedry, a vice president at Turton Commercial Real Estate who worked on the tenant’s behalf in the deal.

Misfit will move into about 5,300 square feet from space in The Cannery business park on Alhambra Boulevard in East Sacramento. Though the square footage between the two leases is comparable, Khedry said, the opportunity to be in the heart of the urban core changes the conversation.
