Brooke Butler of Turton Commercial Real Estate Leads ULI Women Build Day

Brooke Butler of Turton Commercial Real Estate led the Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) in organizing a Women Build Day with Habitat for Humanity. The effort was part of a broader 2026 initiative that brought together more than 600 volunteers at a new community in Citrus Heights, contributing to the construction of affordable housing for low-income families.

The WLI team collectively raised nearly $5,000 in support of the build, contributing to more than $160,000 raised overall across all participating groups. The initiative combined hands-on construction with meaningful community impact, creating both immediate progress on new homes and long-term stability for future homeowners.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building homes, communities, and hope by partnering with families in need of safe, stable, and affordable housing. Through volunteer labor and community support, Habitat helps families achieve homeownership while strengthening neighborhoods across the region.
