Developer Wants to Stack Housing Atop K Street Retail

New floors of housing could be added to existing retail buildings on K Street owned by investor/developer Moe Mohanna.
Mohanna and his daughter and business partner Nikky Mohanna are working with engineering firm Miyamoto International to confirm that it’s feasible, Nikky Mohanna said. Moe Mohanna bought the properties at 920, 924 and 930 K St. last summer for $5.3 million.
“We’re also trying to figure out, does it make financial sense?” Mohanna said. “There is a need for downtown housing units.”
