A prominent restaurant space in Old Town Elk Grove is available for lease, after a high-profile chef closed his barbecue spot, according to the landlord.

Landlord Steve Lebastchi told the Business Journal that Horn Barbecue has permanently closed. Lebastchi said he owns Eco Green LLC, which owns the building at 9700 Railroad St., according to real estate information website Reonomy. Lebatschi is also a principal at Sacramento’s D&S Development.

Lebastchi said he’s looking for a new tenant for the Elk Grove space, such as a restaurant or event hall. The space is in a remodeled brick building.

In a social media post, Turton Commercial Senior Vice President Scott Kingston said the listing includes furniture, fixtures and equipment. The restaurant space is 6,500 square feet, with a 2,500-square-foot patio, according to the post. The property is being offered for $3.25 per square foot a month, with triple net terms. It’s also being offered for sale at $3.5 million.
