Bio
Drawing upon 20 years of experience and $1.2 billion in volume, Scott has dedicated himself to shaping the vibrant urban landscape of Sacramento. His expertise lies in working with the vast majority of Sacramento’s urban properties, and he has proudly played a key role in many of the city’s most transformative projects, leaving an indelible mark on the grid.
Notable projects Scott has had the pleasure to work on include the Ice Blocks, the Railyards, the Cannery, MARRS, 301 Capitol Mall, Envoy, Maker, The Richmond, The Park at East Sacramento, and Township 9.
Committed to fostering a sense of community that extends well beyond the developments themselves, Scott actively supports local nonprofits, including the boards for the American Cancer Society and 3 Strands Global Foundation. By collaborating with impactful organizations and civic leaders, he champions projects that not only boost economic growth but also celebrate Sacramento’s rich diversity and dynamic spirit.
Renowned for his urban property accomplishments, Scott helps create transformational developments and projects from the ground up. He is passionate about mixed-use developments that hum with retail energy and have a direct pulse with the cadence of the city, along with adaptive reuse of historic buildings that are so prevalent in our central city. With an uncanny ability to identify the perfect blend of retail, restaurant and office tenants, Scott breathes life into even the most challenging spaces. His vision encompasses the vast expanse of urban retail, restaurant, office and multifamily buildings, including some of the most architecturally unique projects in the grid.
Scott’s career has been marked by collaborations with some of the region’s most well-regarded developers, including Fulcrum Property, Heller Pacific, LDK Ventures, AKT Properties, Sutter Capital, SKK Developments, Anthem, Hines, D&S Development, and HK3 Development.
Beyond urban real estate, Scott has also serves as a trusted advisor to 18 public agencies, successfully navigating the acquisition and disposition of their real estate assets, including office, industrial, and land leases, purchases, and sales – among them, consular offices for the Government of Mexico across the United States. Noteworthy agencies Scott has represented include CalPERS, the City of Sacramento, the City of Davis, the City of Elk Grove, the City of West Sacramento, El Dorado County, Sutter County, Placer County, the Government of Mexico, and the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
Beyond the office, Scott is fortunate to share his journey with his remarkable wife, Jennifer, an incredibly talented restaurateur and chef. His seven-year-old daughter, Sophia, brings an infectious dose of creativity and wonder to their lives. When he’s not navigating the urban landscape, you’ll find him on two wheels, fueled by a lifelong love of cycling and bike racing, having won the State Championship twice in 2014 and 2015, or most recently taking up a swing at golf after a 20 year hiatus.
