Sacramento’s Oldest Church Lists Midtown Property for Sale at $3M

The home of the oldest church in Sacramento is on the market, with a number of future possibilities.

Ken Turton and Jack Scurfield with Turton Commercial Real Estate is listing the property at 2700 L St. in Midtown Sacramento, home to the Pioneer Congregational United Church of Christ.

Scurfield said that in the six months the church has been on the market, there’s also been interest from investors interested in putting the building to a new use, buyers who wanted it for event space and restaurants that wanted to take advantage of the property’s full commercial kitchen. “We’ve really had the full gamut,” he said.
