Turton Brokers Deal to Sell Empty Land in Downtown Sacramento for Housing

Turton Commercial Real Estate has brokered the sale of Downtown Sacramento land with two rare qualities: undeveloped and without any recent development proposals.
Listing broker David Khedry of Turton said the new owner of 816-820 14th St. is planning a housing project, of a kind to be determined.
“I do think there are certainly models for these size parcels,” he said of the sold land, which is 6,249 square feet, or about .14 of an acre. “I think it’s very encouraging to see this kind of sale.” Records show the new owner as 816-820 14th St. LLC, with an address in Carlsbad, near San Diego. Khedry said escrow closed Sept. 18, for about $687,000.
