5 Things: Tecovas Retail Chain Opens this Week in Sacramento’s Ice Blocks

In September, I told you that country-western retail chain Tecovas was joining Sacramento’s Ice Blocks development. Update: The 2,886-square-foot store is scheduled to open Friday, according to an announcement from the retailer.

This is the first local store for Austin, Texas-based Tecovas, which offers country-western apparel, accessories and boots for men and women. The company was founded in 2015 and has more than 50 stores.

Tecovas fills a space previously occupied by Device Brewing in Sacramento’s Ice Blocks. The grand opening for Tecovas’ store is expected to include giveaways and live music. Additional information is available online.
