Exclusive: Localis Owner Plans Major Food and Drink Expansion to East Sacramento and Broadway

Chris Barnum-Dann, the chef and owner of Michelin-starred Localis, plans to open another iteration of his Betty Wine Bar + Bistro — this one in East Sacramento.
Barnum-Dann also plans to open a tapas/pintxos bar, a high-end wine shop and a market at 1600 Broadway to supply his restaurants as well as home cooks.
Betty on J will open in about six months, while the three Broadway businesses will debut in about a year.
Scott Kingston, Jack Scurfield, and David Scanlon with Turton Commercial Real Estate is working on this deal at 1600 Broadway.
