Hillenbrand Farmhaus Brewery On the Market for $7.95 Million

The Hillenbrand Farmhaus Brewery property and business in Newcastle is for sale for $7.95 million.

According to a brochure prepared by Marcus & Millichap and Turton Commercial Real Estate⁠, the brewery sits on about 13 acres of land and the estate spans over 561,000 square feet.

The property has several buildings including the brewery building, a residential main house where the current owner lives and an Airbnb guest house, said Mark Hefner of Marcus & Millichap.

The brochure also shows the property has several outdoor spaces including a wedding venue, a live music pavilion and a biergarten shaded seating space. The space would be sold with all the equipment, and the owner would be selling the brand as well, Hefner said.

Hillenbrand said the buyer will have to be somebody with experience in the hospitality industry. Scott Kingston of Turton Commercial Real Estate said the right candidate to take over the business would be someone who recognizes the opportunity for the space and that Hillenbrand is focused on “legacy and stewardship.”
