Legal Challenges Over, Trackside Center In Davis Up For Sale

After seven years of first getting through entitlements and then beating back legal challenges, the proponents for the Davis urban infill project Trackside Center are looking to move on.

They’re not abandoning the retail and apartment project, but have instead listed both the entitlements and project site at 901-919 Third St. in downtown Davis for sale, for $4.75 million.

“We’ve been invested in this property since seven years ago,” said Kemble Pope, the managing member for Trackside Center LLC. “Frankly, it’s time to get my partners a return on their investment.”
