Rancho Cordova Approves Fee Waiver to Jumpstart Downtown Dova Arena Project

Ambitious plans to create a downtown for Rancho Cordova got a boost this week with the city council’s approval of a fee waiver for an initial phase of the Downtown Dova project.
The waiver of $940,000 in city fees will allow developers Alpha One Sports and Entertainment Group LLC and KozPure Development LLC to start moving toward construction of a 7,500-seat arena, city officials said at the Monday council meeting.
Scott Kingston and David Scanlon of Turton Commercial will represent the developers for leasing an expected 140,000 square feet of commercial space in Downtown Dova.
