Sweetgreen Restaurant Chain Opens First Sacramento Location

Earlier this year, we told you that Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen Inc. was entering the Sacramento area. The restaurant chain specializes in customizable bowls and salads.

Update: Sweetgreen is scheduled to open its first Sacramento restaurant today, according to the company. The eatery is at 1629 S St., in The Richmond apartment and retail project.

Sweetgreen is also planning a location in The Boulevard center in Campus Commons. The restaurant at Howe Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard is scheduled to open in mid-December, according to Sweetgreen.
