The Golden Bear Owners to Manage Townie Nightclub on K Street

Owners of The Golden Bear in Midtown will take over management for Townie nightclub and bar in Downtown Sacramento.

Josh Milholm, one of the co-owners and general manager of The Golden Bear, said he and his co-owners, Kimio Bazett and Jane Gribben, will take over management for Townie starting May 1. Shan Dan Horan, the founder of independent record label SBG Records, is also part of the incoming management group.

Milholm said the group will keep the business name, but they plan to change the menu and expand the hours of operation. They plan to expand the music offerings to include country, heavy metal and punk rock. The business will remain a nightclub.

Kimio Bazett is also a broker at Turton Commercial Real Estate.
