Turton Commercial Brokers Two Building Sales in Redevelopment Area Near Sac State

New owners won’t be changing uses on two properties on Elvas Avenue, but they’re aware of the potential.

The buyers for 6400 and 6500 Elvas had in mind possible redevelopment down the road when they made their respective purchases recently, said broker Scott Kingston of Turton Commercial Real Estate.

“Both were buying because of the needs of their business,” said Kingston, a broker on both sales.

The listing at 6500 Elvas also had a separate yard parcel of about .39 of an acre that wasn’t part of the sale and is still on the market, he said. Turton Commercial’s website has the remainder piece, which also has the zoning for transit-oriented development, listed for $500,000.
