Turton Commercial Real Estate Listing Entitled Anthem Site on S Street for Sale

Showing more headwinds for big urban infill housing projects, Anthem Properties Group Inc. is looking to move on from plans to develop more than 200 units on S Street near Downtown Sacramento.

Turton Commercial Real Estate began listing the entitled 905 S St. site on Friday. Listing broker Scott Kingston said it could be a challenging assignment.

Anthem has site entitlements to develop a six-story, 227-unit project of market-rate apartments above about 7,200 square feet of retail space. The property of about 50,845 square feet is bare land but near other development projects in the R Street Corridor.

In addition to Kingston, Ken Turton and Shilo Rochelle of Turton Commercial Real Estate are on the listing.
