Urban Elements Planning October Groundbreaking on Midtown Projects

Construction should start within the next couple weeks on a mixed-use project in one of midtown Sacramento’s busiest corridors.

Developer Julie Young of Urban Elements said she expects to break ground Oct. 22 on a 12-unit condominium project at 2417 J St.

The four-story project has a first-floor retail tenant confirmed, Young said in an email.

“I can tell you that it is a food operator, but cannot disclose who as a result of confidentiality agreement,” she said. The retail space is about 4,000 square feet, while the condos in the project will be about 800 square feet each. The project also has a 300-square-foot courtyard.
