Vrilakas Groen Architects in Talks with City on Empty Del Paso Boulevard Land

Sacramento-based Vrilakas Groen Architects is in early talks with the city of Sacramento about land planned for infill housing on Del Paso Boulevard.

Sacramento has sought development proposals for the property for several years, since it became a remainder piece from redevelopment agencies when the state of California shuttered those agencies in the early 2010s.

An unrealized development proposal from 2019 resulted in an ongoing lawsuit between the project’s would-be developer and the city. More recently, Turton Commercial Real Estate began marketing the site about a year ago on the city’s behalf.
