Jack Scurfield is a third generation Sacramentan with deep roots in the commercial real estate network of Sacramento, having been raised in an environment of family investing, value-add projects, and property management, prior to joining Turton Commercial in 2021. Jack quickly found his path at Turton Commercial specializing in investment and multifamily sales, 1031 exchange representation, and a healthy amount of landlord representation for urban core office leasing.

Following his passion and instincts for commercial real estate, Jack jumped into the industry with both feet first while still attending CSU Sacramento. Within his first full year at Turton Commercial, Jack completed 33 transactions totaling over $20,000,000 in gross consideration.

Jack has been with the firm since 2021, and has an additional two years prior experience in property management and real estate accounting.

As a Midtown resident, Jack’s “boots on the ground” approach to his brokerage strategy has served him well, having been involved with various local landlords and investors in the sales and leasing of urban core properties across asset classes including office, retail, land, industrial and predominantly, multifamily. In addition to sales and leasing, Jack has developed a strong reputation representing 1031 exchange buyers both locally and on a national level, sourcing secure purchase opportunities for clients needing to place any sales proceeds in a timely and efficient manner.

After finding his niche in the above specialties, Jack aims to bring his skillsets to local property owners focused on growing, fine tuning, and stabilizing their investments. Jack compliments his clients’ goals with various attributes including complex underwriting skills, a nose to sniff out off market opportunities, and timely communication, all with the goal of maximizing the value of his clients real estate.

Outside of the office, Jack enjoys his local coffee shops, run clubs, cycling on the American River Trail, and traveling the world in the winter months, chasing the best snow conditions possible with many good friends.
