Turton Commercial listing site of proposed Leidesdorff Village in Historic Folsom

One of the few developable spots in Historic Folsom that’s not already spoken for has hit the market.

Turton Commercial Real Estate has the listing for sale of a 4.25-acre site at Leidesdorff and Sutter streets, with zoning for a multifamily project.

“There’s a scarcity of developable land in Old Town Folsom, and it’s really turned into a work-play-live environment,” said Scott Kingston, a senior vice president with Turton Commercial who’s on the listing.

As well, he said, the site’s zoning would allow either market-rate or affordable/workhouse housing, the latter still the source of many inquiries the brokerage gets on properties elsewhere.
